Balfour Beatty successfully delivered this design-build project for the County of Los Angeles. The project consists of a premier aquatics and recreation destination serving the unincorporated communities of the east San Gabriel Valley. The facility features an Olympic-size competition pool, a 25-meter by 25-yard practice pool, administrative offices, an instructional classroom, storage areas, and supporting amenities. Complementing the aquatics center, the project includes a 1-acre community park with a pollinator garden, shaded picnic areas, a natural playground, an amphitheater, public plaza spaces, and a fitness loop equipped with exercise stations. Seamlessly integrated with Allen J. Martin Park, the project expands recreational opportunities, promotes community wellness, and creates an inviting gathering space for residents of all ages.
