What is CCAT?The Campus Center for Appropriate Technology is a student managed, student funded live-in demonstration home for appropriate technology. CCAT is part of Associated Students, a registered non-profit organization, and home for three student Co-Directors who live in the house and manage the program for one-year periods. CCAT Co-Directors also manage the student employees that CCAT hires every semester. We are located on the ancestral homeland of the Wiyot Tribe at the Cal Poly Humboldt
To support the future workforce needs of law enforcement, Cal Poly Humboldt and College of the Redwoods are creating an academic pathway program that advances careers while fostering community-centered policing.
At Humboldt, our Engineering majors build close connections with peers and professors in small classroom settings. They get real-world, hands-on training in projects on campus and in the community. And they gain the experience for a fulfilling career that solves complex problems and makes a difference, locally and globally.
