Amarillo Barbecue originally opened in Omaha, NE, in 1987, it was a well-known iconic, nationally recognized restaurant for over 22 years. During its peak in Omaha, The Amarillo hosted and catered to entertainment legends like Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, and Brooks and Dunn. When the owner retired and sold the business, we bought it and brought it with us to its new home in the PNW.
